It's been a long time coming but channel memberships are finally available on my YouTube channel. Click here to join or read on to find out more.
What's this all about? Becoming a member does two things: it gives you an easy way to support my channel and the educational videos I make, and it gives you access to members only content.
What is the members only content? There will be: Behind the scenes footage, timelapse editing tutorials, live streams, blooper reels, questions and answers videos, video scripts, early access to videos before they go live to the public, digital wallpapers, store discounts, timelapse reviews and more.
What does it cost? One pound. What? Yes, I know. To celebrate the launch with a bang I'm starting off with only one tier for £1.
Yup, just one pound to become a member! The initial goal is to get as many members to join as possible and then grow the membership platform out from there, with feedback and input from the members themselves.
With YouTube taking a 30% cut from all membership fees I'm clearly not making much money from this at the start, but that's not the point. The point is to build out a system that strengthens the community and allows me to focus more on the channel and creating content for you all. Obviously it's nice to get compensated for my time, but that's something the bigger tiers later on will solve. For now, I'm just very excited to launch this thing!
