  • You will need a (timelapse video) with the same beginning and end frame. The easiest way to get this is to shoot on a tripod.
  • You will need a video editor, like Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro or you could even do this on your phone using an app like InShot.

How to edit an infinite loop video

  • Open up your video editing software and put your video or timelapse clip into your timeline.
  • Select the part of the video you want to loop and remove the rest.
  • With the blade or cut tool, but the video in half.
  • Place the first half of the video after the second half.
  • Remove the newly created empty space in front of the second half.
  • Apply a crossfade transition in the middle of the two halfs. Make sure this is a few seconds in length to get a subtle transition.
